Christian Education

Sunday School at Good Shepherd meets at 9:30 a.m., a convenient time between our two morning services.

Nursery

The nursery is open during Sunday School and the 10:30 a.m. service.  Our youngest members enjoy two classrooms: a baby nursery and a preschool room.

Elementary-pre-K through 5th Grade

The curriculum Godly Play is used for this group.

Secondary

The lessons for this group follow the Lectionary, the Bible readings that are appointed by the Church for each Sunday. Lively Christmas pageants have been presented each year by our youth, several written by our middle and high school students.

Adults

We offer a series of adult classes throughout the year. Topics include Bible study, book discussions, Church history. Guest speakers have also added to the variety at times. The most requested class is Bible study. Many talented parishioners have shared the teaching duties with the rector. We usually have enough volunteers to offer two adult classes each Sunday.

Bible Study

A Bible Study led by the Rev. Ted Koelln is held every Thursday morning at 10:30 am.
